There are three kinds of reasons for the abnormal rise of Conveyor idler temperature: poor lubrication, insufficient cooling and abnormal bearing. Conveyor idler is placed in a centrifugal fan, if the bearing fatigue wear occurs, pit and the gap increases caused by temperature rise, the general can be judged by listening to the sound and vibration measurement of bearing and other methods, such as is the cause of poor lubrication, insufficient cooling is relatively easy to judge. The bearings of the axial flow fan are concentrated in the bearing box and placed below the intake chamber. When the bearing temperature is high, it is difficult to determine whether the bearing is defective or lubricated or cooled due to the running of the fan. In the actual work, we should solve the problem from the following aspects.
(1) whether the refueling is appropriate. The bearing box should be refueling in accordance with the requirements of regular work. When the bearing is refueling, sometimes the temperature is high. It is mainly overrefueling. At this time, the phenomenon of temperature continues to rise. When it reaches a certain point, it usually stays at 10 ~ 15 degrees higher than the normal temperature. It will remain unchanged, and then it will gradually decrease.
(2) the cooling fan is small and the cooling air volume is insufficient. The smoke temperature of the fan is at 120 - 140 C. If the bearing box is not cooled effectively, the bearing temperature will rise. The solution of simpler and less power consumption is to set up compressed air in the hub side bearing. When the temperature is low, the compressed air can not be cooled, and the compressed air is cooled when the temperature is high.
(3) check the bearing box after it is confirmed that the above problems are not existed.
